How the Signal Is Built
How the options read and the price read combine into a single idea — and where the data comes from.
Combining the inputs
Each selected Nations index and technical indicator is normalized to a comparable scale and then weighted into a composite read, which is mapped to a plain-English bullish/neutral/bearish idea with a conviction sense. You choose which inputs count, so the read reflects your method, not a black box.
Data sources
Signals draw on the live Nations volatility indexes (an intraday SpiderRock proxy), database-cached market-data OHLCV for the technical studies, and a real-time options chain. Readings update through the trading day.
Not advice
The output is an informational, rules-based read to focus analysis. It is not a recommendation, and it does not account for your objectives, costs, or risk tolerance.
