Momentum and trend

RSI (14) — speed and magnitude of moves; above 70 overbought, below 30 oversold.
MACD (12,26,9) — trend and momentum; line crossing its signal is the classic trigger.
Stochastics (14,3) — close relative to range; flags overbought/oversold reversals.
ADX (14) — trend strength (not direction); above 25 signals a strong trend.

Structure and volatility

Moving averages (20/50/200) — trend backbone; golden and death crosses matter.
Bollinger Bands (20) — a moving average with volatility bands; tags of the bands flag stretch.
